Integral to Kearney|Golisano's mission is making quality education accessible to students from all walks of life. The current cost of tuition is $6,975. At that rate, Kearney|Golisano continues to be the most affordable Catholic high school in the Rochester area. To maintain this level of accessibility and in order to increase educational opportunities, BK is aggressively pursuing fundraising opportunities. Annually, the school awards $350,000 in scholarships and financial aid with only a portion of that funded by benefactors of the school.
Top 5 Funding Priorities
-
Bishop Kearney Honor Walk - On May 9, 2001 a groundbreaking ceremony was held at the site of the walkway. The project allows individuals to put their name in stone and is intended to raise $350,000 which will enhance technology at Kearney|Golisano.
-
Scholarships and Endowment - The goal in the next three years is to increase Kearney|Golisano's endowment fund by $1 million dollars. There are several endowed scholarships at BK that help to serve students in need of tuition assistance.
-
Science Laboratories - The school is looking to renovate its 4 science labs to incorporate the latest technological advances into an optimal learning environment. The goal of these newly renovated labs will be to prepare BK students to lead the way in science exploration at the collegiate level.
-
Athletics - Kearney|Golisano provides its students with a championship athletic program. The school plans to renovate Clark Field (lighted soccer and football stadiums) and make further additions to fields on the 42-acre campus.
-
Faculty Development - The heart of the school lies in the quality of its teaching staff. Recognizing this, Kearney|Golisano plans to secure funding for endowed faculty positions as well as provide necessary opportunities for faculty development.
