The High School Math Teacher is responsible for teaching various mathematics subjects to students in grades 9 through 12. They create and implement lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide support to help students understand mathematical concepts such as algebra, and geometry. They maintain a positive classroom environment, manage student behavior, and tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Additionally, they collaborate with other teachers and staff, communicate with parents, and engage in ongoing professional development. A passion for teaching, strong mathematical knowledge, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

 

 

The Head Varsity Girls’ Softball Coach is responsible for managing every aspect of the girls’ softball program. This includes managing and organizing all coaches in the program (including any modified and junior varsity coaches), recruiting players within the schools, organizing team activities in and out of season, practice preparation and execution, and communicating with players and their parents. The Head Varsity Girls’ Softball Coach is required to abide by NYSPHSAA and Section V rules and regulations, as well as, meeting all expectations of a Bishop Kearney High School employee.

The Head Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach is responsible for managing every aspect of the lacrosse program. This includes managing and organizing all coaches in the program (including any modified and junior varsity coaches), recruiting players within the schools, organizing team activities in and out of season, practice preparation and execution, and communicating with players and their parents. The Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach is required to abide by NYSPHSAA and Section V rules and regulations, as well as, meeting all expectations of a Bishop Kearney High School employee. The school is committed to developing competitive student-athletes with character and integrity.
