The tuition stipend is credited to the student's account in the month following the volunteer shifts. For more information, contact Heather Ilardo, Director of Admissions at hilardo@bkhs.org.
Financial Aid
85% of Families receive some sort of financial aid which is supported by alumni, friends and community members who continue to contribute through annual giving, and scholarship support.
Through Bishop Kearney’s financial aid program, it is our goal to make a Bishop Kearney education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Bishop Kearney is partnered with Blackbaud to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes income, expenses, debts and assets.
The financial aid portal will open after October 1. At that time, you can create an account and fill out an application. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. There is an application submission fee.
In most cases, student awards remain at similar levels year over year. However, award amounts could change if considerable changes in family finances occur.
Families apply for financial aid annually through our financial aid portal. The Financial Aid portal will open for the 2024-25 financial aid applications October 1, 2024. Financial Aid Portal
Financial aid applications for new families are due with the admissions application (December 31, 2024) and no later than, January 15, 2025 to be considered. Financial aid applications are reviewed on a rolling basis after January 15 if funding is still available.
